History of LDSFabric.com -
LDSFabric, com was started in early 2007 as an online fabric retailer. We have always operated our business from our home and it has done well for us. In the first two years of our existence, we chose a marketing, branding and advertising campaign through LDSLiving magazine and FaceBook campaigns, coupled with an effort to increase our Google rankings. Now in 2017, LDSFabric is recognized as a viable and reputable online fabric retailer. The opportunity for sustained growth can and will easily occur.
With significant business growth from the start, in July 2009 owner Kathleen Jensen and husband Tom were asked to serve a three year full-time church mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Philippines. It was a challenge to leave the growing business in someone else's hands and subsequently within a few months, orders and business growth became too much to handle, and we had to close down for the season of our mission call.
Upon our return Kathleen opened shop again and has continued to build clientele and business opportunities. Our main method of retail has been through as successful relationship with Etsy.com. We have been pleased with the results but there exists even greater opportunities to grow and develop the business.
With retirement coming soon, we both feel that we need to transition the business to another party in order to let us serve again other unshackled mission and travel opportunities.
Our Goals -
The objectives of our business from the start has been to:
1. Have a home business that would take us to retirement.
2. Answer the online need for good quality and popular fabric prints.
There are many people living in locations that cannot easily shop at a brick and mortar store, or get what they want. There are many people that simply prefer to shop online. Statistically online domestic sales speak for themselves in success and continue to outpace brick and mortar store sales. Such is true for fabric sales. Such growth will surely continue. There are several very successful online fabric retailers which prove that online fabric sales can be extremely successful.
3. Provide customer service that is unmatched.
While people are driven by price - safe, friendly, trusting and exceptional service can easily be the advantage to increase online growth. People shop where they feel safe and get what they want.
Business Price -
$16,000.00 cash price plus Washington State attorney fees to transfer ownership (minimal). Sale price is firm. (Note: Price listed on Etsy listing is $500 more due to listing fees should someone desire to purchase online).
